Heather Beyers, APRN, PMHNP-BC, WHNP-BC obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lincoln Land Community College in 1996; followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She has her Advanced Practice Registered Nursing degree with a specialization as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner; and her Post-Master’s Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner both from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.

Heather has worked the majority of her career within rural communities across Central and Southern Illinois and is deeply committed to addressing the mental health needs within smaller community settings. Her diverse education equips her to be a valuable resource for women, offering diagnosis and medication management options and support before, during, and after childbirth through advanced clinical study. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, empathetic, and comprehensive mental health services to individuals of all ages, aiming to create a caring, non-judgmental environment for discussing mental health concerns and reducing stigma. Heather eagerly anticipates the opportunity to serve the community with dedication and compassion. Prior to her moving to the Kenai Peninsula; she was originally from Southern Illinois. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her three dogs.

Michelle E. Moyer, DO, MSW began her academic journey with a degree in International Politics from Brigham Young University, followed by a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah. She then completed medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Psychiatry residency at the Texas Institute of Graduate Medical Education in San Antonio. As a member of the American Psychiatry Association, Dr. Moyer is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, psychosis, and ADHD. She has extensive experience in managing treatment-resistant depression and is proficient in innovative, evidence-based therapies for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine nasal spray). Dr. Moyer is dedicated to providing these treatments in a compassionate and supportive environment, ensuring a positive experience for her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Moyer enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, skiing, hiking, fishing, and exploring everything the great state of Alaska has to offer.
