Michelle E. Moyer, DO, MSW began her academic journey with a degree in International Politics from Brigham Young University, followed by a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah. She then completed medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Psychiatry residency at the Texas Institute of Graduate Medical Education in San Antonio. As a member of the American Psychiatry Association, Dr. Moyer is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, psychosis, and ADHD. She has extensive experience in managing treatment-resistant depression and is proficient in innovative, evidence-based therapies for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine nasal spray). Dr. Moyer is dedicated to providing these treatments in a compassionate and supportive environment, ensuring a positive experience for her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Moyer enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, skiing, hiking, fishing, and exploring everything the great state of Alaska has to offer.

Sean M. Costello, MD is dedicated to supporting the mental health needs of Alaskans. He earned his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and went on to complete his medical degree through the University of Washington School of Medicine’s WWAMI program in Anchorage, where he focused on the unique needs of Alaska communities. He later completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Dr. Costello has extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including mood, psychotic, anxiety, and trauma related disorders. He is especially interested in the connection between neuroscience, psychology, and the mind–brain relationship, which shapes his holistic approach to patient care.

Having spent much of his life in Alaska, Dr. Costello is grateful to be back home. Outside of his practice, he enjoys foraging in the summer, playing hockey in the winter, and woodworking year-round. He is deeply committed to providing compassionate, effective care for his friends and neighbors across the Last Frontier.

Dr. Keeley MD Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist is delighted to join the community and the team at Central Peninsula Mental Wellness. Originally from New England, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at Northeastern University, followed by several years of pediatric neurosurgery research at Harvard/MGH. Eventually, she decided to shift her focus on developmental neuroscience from research to clinical practice by pursuing a career in medicine. Her desire to learn medicine in a system with a proven mission of patient-centered care brought her to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she completed medical school as well as post-graduate training.  She is residency trained in general psychiatry and fellowship trained in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is passionate about providing individualized and evidence-based psychiatric care to children and young adults. Treatment plans are therefore developed through partnership with patients and will often include multiple modalities such as lifestyle modifications, behavioral modification, psychotherapy, medications, and/or neuromodulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). 

Dr. Gus Salazar, PhD Psychologist is a clinical psychologist specializing in child and adolescent mental health, currently completing his postdoctoral training at Central Peninsula Hospital. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Brigham Young University and completed his clinical internship at Children’s Mercy Hospital, where he worked with children and teens from birth through age 18.
Dr. Salazar has experience diagnosing and treating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, eating disorders, and behavioral challenges such as toileting and defiance. He also provides comprehensive psychological assessments for conditions including autism, ADHD, learning disorders, and mood or behavioral concerns.
He takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to treatment, drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Dr. Salazar works closely with families to develop individualized treatment plans that help children and adolescents manage challenges effectively and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, reading, playing board games, and spending time with his family.
